Welcome to SA Patriot Flags. “America.” The word brings many different images to mind. Maybe you are thinking of a backyard barbecue with a grill full of hot dogs and hamburgers. Perhaps you remembered a 4th of July parade. Or, just maybe, you thought of men and women who protect our homes and country every day. Some of you may reflect on the many opportunities, freedoms, choices, and blessings that we enjoy. Others may envision grand monuments to our history and the many trials our democracy has overcome. Yet, being an “American” hasn’t been easy. There have also been losses and many American flags at burials. Thus, the American Flag is a symbol for everything that our country represents, which is why many Americans fly their flags proudly. At its core, the American flag stands for pride, sacrifice, opportunity, hope, strength, and freedom. Flying an American flag at your home or business can serve as a reminder of these values---and as a salute to those patriots who served.

From the heart: As a veteran I sometimes experience a feeling of guilt about returning home whole in body and mind. Therefore, it is our intent, as the business grows, to donate a portion of each flag subscription to Reboot Recovery, a non-profit San Antonio foundation, in support of their work with PTSD patients. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event. PTSD is NOT just a military disorder; it can happen to anyone including First Responders and Law Enforcement. So….please join us and display your flag with pride knowing that your subscription will help to make these patriots whole again.
